Kenneth and Debra Garber offer you extensive experience in business management and ownership, sales and marketing, and public relations. Both Ken and Debra come from a medical background into the real estate profession.

Kenneth has been the owner of a private ambulance service as well a general manager for several other ambulance services. He has been the executive director of a five-region emergency medical services agency in California that was operated from federal grant monies. Kenneth was instrumental in developing the well-known Emergency Medical Dispatch system for medical priority dispatching of emergency medical services to the public. He has been retained as a consultant in the design, development and implementation of county 9-1-1 systems throughout the United States.  Kenneth is currently the Chair of the Douglas County 9-1-1 Surcharge Committee.

Utilizing his vast years of experience, totaling over 45, has greatly enhanced his real estate career. Kenneth is a Certified Negotiation Expert, CNE, a member in good standing of the Reno Sparks Association of REALTORS® and the South Tahoe Association of REALTORS®.

Debra has been a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department and critical care units for over twenty five years. Debra has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and has served as a Legal Nurse Consultant; in fact, she was a Founding Member of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants.  Debra has owned her own teaching academy for emergency medical personnel and trained and educated hundreds of emergency medical technicians. She was nominated as RN of the Year in California and featured in the publication Nurseweek. She also is a well-respected publisher for Cengage Publishing, a division of Del Mar Publishing.

Debra is a member in good standing of the Reno Sparks Association of REALTORS® and has achieved national recognition as a Certified Residential Specialist® (CRS).

In order to assist homeowners with the sale of their home, Debra has combined her real estate knowledge & enthusiasm for design. In 2005, Debra & Kenneth formed Motif Home Staging, a staging & redesign company. Debra is a Staging Diva^TM Graduate, an intense training program in business management as well as the “nuts & bolts” of staging.

Kenneth and Debra reside in Gardnerville and are active members of Tahoe Community Church where Debra is part of the Worship Team and a soloist; Ken serves as the Lead Sound Technician and is active in men’s Bible Study.  Both are devout Christians.
